Fans and media workers have no shortage of interest in famous actress Jaya Ahsan’s personal life. She married renowned model Faisal Ahsan in 1998 and separated in 2011. Recently, Jaya Ahsan went to a Baisakhi festival organized by Actors Equity at Lazz Palli in Savar. There, the actress’s personal life came up in a conversation with the media. “I am enjoying my life very much. A family is not just a husband and wife or a partner. There are many more. I have my mother, a sister, and people who work in the family, I have pets, with whom I really enjoy spending time,” Jaya said.
If that’s the case, will you spend the rest of your life like this — in response, Jaya replied, “If ever I feel that it is necessary or urgent to become a double from this single life, then I will think about it when the time is right. I have no plans at the moment. I am really fine, at mental peace all around. Concerning this situation, I am saying that I have no plans (marriage) for now.” Jaya made her name on the big screen in 2010 with ‘Dubshatar’ directed by Nurul Alam Atique. Before that, she was seen as a model and in television dramas. However, in 2004, she played a small role in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s ‘Bachelor’. After 2010, Jaya’s film career mainly developed in Kolkata. She received the National Film Award five times in recognition of her acting. She also received Kolkata Filmfare Award four times. Jaya is currently busy with a web series directed by filmmaker Ashfaque Nipun. This will be Jaya’s first web series in the country. Apart from this, she is going to start shooting for a movie called ‘Dear Ma’ directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury in Kolkata soon.
