Shah Rukh Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, has shared that the actor is getting well. SRK was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, May 22, due to dehydration and fever.

Sharing SRK’s health update, his manager Pooja wrote on her Instagram: “To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well-wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern (sic)”, with folded hands emoji.

Shah Rukh Khan was in Ahmedabad on May 21 for the play-off match between KKR and SRH. SRK received a grand welcome at the ITC Narmada Hotel in Ahmedabad after he arrived with his team late at night. The actor was taken to the hospital at around 1 pm after his condition worsened in the morning. Doctors have advised him to take adequate rest.

On May 22, SRK’s wife Gauri Khan, businessman Jay Mehta, and actor Juhi Chawla visited the hospital to check on the actor.

Later, Juhi shared SRK’s health update. She told News18, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening.” She said that SRK will cheer for his IPL team KKR as they play in the finals this weekend. “God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” she added.

Ahmedabad, along with many other regions in India, experienced extremely high temperatures. The temperature in Gujarat’s capital reached around 45 degrees Celsius, prompting the Meteorological Department to issue a red alert for the city.
