Entertainment Desk:
The shooting of the film “Bonolata Express” has been completed and is now awaiting release. Popular actress Sabila Nur plays an important role in the film and has already shifted her focus to other projects after wrapping up her part.
Sabila believes choosing this film was the right decision. Speaking about her role, she said, “I play the character ‘Chitra’ in this project. I was very happy to get the offer from a story based on Humayun sir’s novel. When director Tanim Noor bhaiya first spoke to me last July, I felt that working on this film would be the right choice. After finishing the shoot, I’m even more certain about that.”
She added that the experience on set was smooth and well-organised. “I shot for about 20 days. Only the dubbing is left now. This was my first time working with this team, and everything was planned perfectly. Every day’s work followed a schedule, and it was a really good experience.”
Talking about the audience, Sabila said the film is meant for mainstream viewers. “Tanim bhaiya wanted to make a commercial movie, not an art film. There is romance, comedy and tragedy-elements that draw people to the cinema hall. Though there is no traditional dance or song sequences, the story is the biggest strength.”
She believes the film has strong potential. “Fans of Humayun Ahmed sir and those who enjoyed the film ‘Utsav’ will definitely want to watch this. Overall, I think ‘Bonolata Express’ will connect with the audience.”
