Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Ulajh’ opened at Rs 1.10 crore on Friday in India. The thriller couldn’t attract enough audiences to the theatres on its first day, despite extensive promotions. The film was facing a box office clash with ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ which collected Rs 2 crore on its opening day at the box office.

This was the lowest opening for a film starring Janhvi in the lead in a long time. Her last film, ‘Mr. and Mrs. Maahi’, which also starred Rajkummar Rao, opened at Rs 6.75 crore amid mixed reviews earlier this year.
