A medical team has arrived in Dhaka from the United States to provide treatment to those injured in the July uprising.
The eight-member team from the US is scheduled to offer treatment at the National Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute (Nitor) on Wednesday, according to Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, senior information officer at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
He mentioned that the US team will be in Bangladesh until February 7, treating those seriously injured during the protests.
The medical team arrived in Bangladesh on Monday.
Additionally, six individuals, who suffered gunshot wounds and are experiencing eye and spinal issues, will be sent to Bangkok, Thailand, on Wednesday for advanced treatment.
