Lux Channel i Superstar famed actress and model Rista Laboni Shimana has been bedridden in a hospital for the last 12 days. She has not yet regained consciousness, rather her condition has deteriorated.

The doctor on duty informed the family on Sunday (June 2). Ejaz bin Ali, the younger brother of the actress Shimana, confirmed this.

About Shimana, Ejaz said, “The doctors told us in the morning that sister’s condition has further deteriorated. He asked to do a CT scan of the brain. They will tell us what to do next after receiving the test report.”

“But from what I understand, the situation is not good at all. We put our faith in Allah. If something miraculous happens, maybe sister will recover.”

The actress was hospitalized on May 20 due to a brain hemorrhage. Requesting everyone to pray for his sister, Shimana’s brother Ejaz bin Ali said that doctors had put her on life support as a “last resort”. “I urge all to pray for my sister. No one in our house is feeling good due to sister’s condition. Parents are very broken. Her elder son is crying a lot,” he also said in tears.

Shimana’s journey began in showbiz in 2006 with the Lux Channel i Superstar competition. Since then, she worked regularly in dramas, advertisements, and even in movies. However, since 2016, Shimana took a break from work for six years due to family reasons. After the break, she returned to work last year.

Shimana was on break due to her being a mother twice. She is the mother of two children — her elder child Shresto is 8-year-old and her younger child Swargo is 3-year-old.
