Shariful Razz and Bidya Sinha Mim starring ‘Poran’ and ‘Damal’ were released a couple of years ago. After release, Pori Moni humiliated Mim with false claims on her Facebook. That whole incident scarred Mim a lot. A few days later Mim told the media that she would not be acting opposite Razz. She did not work with Razz since then. After that incident, Mim tried to avoid Pori Moni at public events.

Last Friday night high-profile fashion event was organized in the capital. Several celebrities, including Pori Moni, Bidya Sinha Mim, Sabila Nur, Puja Cherry and Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan were present there. Prior to walking down the stage, all of them were standing behind the stage. Suddenly, Pori Moni hugged Mim.

Talking about this, actress Mim told the media, “Two years ago, Pori Moni humiliated me with false claims on her Facebook status, that too on my birthday night. That whole incident scarred me a lot. After that incident, I tried to avoid her at public events. Prior to walking down the stage, all of us were standing behind the stage. Suddenly, Pori Moni hugged me and said she knew I was still upset with her.”

‘Are you still mad at me? I am really sorry. Please forget what I said to you back then. Don’t you love my children?’ She further asked. I wasn’t really prepared for that interaction, including her coming to me and hugging me. Many people noticed the incident, including Sabila Nur, and Tanjin Tisha, among others.”

Mim said that before entering the stage and even towards the end of the program, Pori Moni kept repeating the same statements to her and hugged her twice.

When Pori Moni was asked about this, she said, ‘I am really sorry. Please forget what I said to you back then – when did I say such things, I really want to know. Who has heard these things? Does anyone have a video of this? Can anyone tell? Did it happen in a dream? This is like taking meals in a dream.’

“That’s right, I hugged Mim multiple times. She did the same. We are both artists, we have met, don’t we talk to each other! We can show this courtesy in front of everyone, can’t we!”
