A woman and three others sustained burn injuries from fire caused by gas cylinder explosion in Gazipur’s Kashimpur Bagbari area early Sunday.

The burnt victims–Md Tanzil, 22, Md Rabbi, 20, Md Shamsul 65, and Rozina Haque, 89– were admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The hospital resident doctor Shawan Bin Rahman said, “Four people were brought to the hospital with burn wounds late night. Of them, Tanzil was admitted with 30 per cent of burns, Rabbi with 23 per cent, Shamsul with 5 per cent adn Rozina with 3 per cent.”

Two are receiving treatment at emergency department, he added.
