Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma on Wednesday said India wants to work with the interim government of Bangladesh for the benefit of the people of both countries.

Pranay Verma told this to reporters after a courtesy meeting with Foreign Affairs adviser Md Touhid Hossain.

“It was only a courtesy meeting Wednesday. There was no agenda. No specific matter was discussed. India wants to continue working with the interim government for the benefit of the people of both countries.”

While asking about Sheikh Hasina, he didn’t say anything.
