The advance booking for Pushpa: The Rule is likely to begin from November 30 in India. The Allu Arjun-starrer has already registered a solid start at the US box office in terms of pre-sales. However, in India, it is eyeing the top contenders from day 1. Pushpa 2 is looking at dethroning KGF: Chapter 2 and Jawan as the top Indian films with the biggest advance sales in India.

The Yash-starrer grossed around Rs 40 crore for its opening day in advance booking with blocked seats, while the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer recorded the biggest advance sales in Hindi with Rs 36 crore without blocked seats. If the craze around Pushpa 2: The Rule has anything to go by, the film is going to surpass these figures to set a new advance booking benchmark in India.

The Sukumar-directorial has been a hugely anticipated film since the beginning of the year. It is also witnessing a solo release, with no other Hindi or South Indian biggie challenging its run at the box office. Once December is here, the buzz around Pushpa 2 is going to be at its peak, helping its advance booking business with a great deal.

Maddock Films’ Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, was slated to hit the screens on December 6. However, the makers announced its postponement in an official post recently. The other films, including Kanguva and Amaran in the South, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again in the north, have all completed their respective runs at the ticket window, leaving the entire window for Pushpa 2.

Pushpa 2: The Rule oversease advance booking report

In North America, meanwhile, the film has recorded opening day pre-sales of over $1.80 million so far, making the overall overseas advance booking to cross $2 million for the first day, reported the trade website Sacnilk. In fact, the total advance booking gross for all days in North America is beyond $2 million and that is one of the fastest pre-sales by any Indian film in the market, with a week to go for its grand release.

Pushpa 2 will be looking at creating some unthinkable records at the box office. And if it ends up receiving positive-word-of-mouth, then the sky is the limit for this ‘wildfire’!
