Ullapara Correspondent:

Police on Tuesday recovered the body of a woman floating in the pond near Railway Station in Ullapara of Sirajganj district.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Mehedi Hasan, Officer in Charge of Ullapara Model Thana told The Daily Sky that, being informed by locals, a team of Ullapara Model Thana police reached to the spot and recovered the body from the pond with the help of locals and fire service officials.

The reason behind the death could not be known so far. Legal procedures are underway.
