About Tk 61 lakh was handed over to the relief fund of Chief Adviser Prof. Yunus on behalf of teachers and employees of all Primary Schools in nine Upazilas of Siraganj district with a view to assist the flood-hit-people in the country.

Harun-or-Rashid, District Primary Education Officer in Sirajganj confirmed the matter to The Daily Sky on Thursday.

Saiful Islam, District Assistant Education Officer said, “We have collected the money equal to a day salary from teachers and employees of all primary schools in nine upazila of the district and handed the money over to the relief fund of Chief Adviser as grant to assist the country’s flood affected people.”
