Pabna Correspondent:

A child was killed in a road accident at Chatmohar upazila in Pabna district on Sunday.

The accident occured at Jardis intersection area in the upazila at around 11 AM.

The deceased was identified as Kalu, 15, son of late Abdul Aziz and a resident of Choto Shalikha area in the upazila. He was a Auto-van driver by profession.

According to Chatmohar Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Monzurul Alam, Kalu lost control of his auto-van when he reached the Jardis intersection and overturned. Kalu was crushed under the auto-van. At that time, an iron rod entered Kalu’s head and he died on the spot.

The OC also said that his body has been handed over to his family after an autopsy.
