Agitating ‘Students-Public’ detained him after releasing from Jail on bail and handed him over to police on charge of attacking and beating to the protesters during the Anti-Students Movement on August 4, 2024. Aziz is suspected accused of that sabotage case.
Saidur Rahman Bachchu, General Secretary of District BNP said, “BNP and Students-Public are frustrated over the matter of releasing Abdul Aziz, also an accused of murder attempt case.”
Showing respect to the court decision, he opined that, if such as accused like Abdul Aziz gets bail before completion of justice and upcoming national parliament election, he and their associates will be reorganized and may create anarchy in the country again to spoil the bid of incumbent interim government.
He further said, “Awami League is still engaged in various conspiracies to create chaos in a bid to foil the fair and transparent election in future. The hated political party is trying to return on power in a crooked path. This is why, BNP and Students-Public demanded no-bail for all noted accused of sabotages carried out by Awami League government and their men during the July-August uprising.”
