The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations in all districts under the Chattogram education board have been postponed until 16 July due to adverse weather conditions and the ongoing flood situation.
Prime Minister’s Adviser on Education Mahdi Amin announced the decision on Saturday.
He said the decision was made following discussions with Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon and the deputy commissioners of the districts concerned.
The districts under the Chattogram board are Chattogram, Rangamati, Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, and Khagrachhari.
Earlier, the authorities concerned postponed the HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for 8 and 11 July across all districts under the board.
