Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon on Tuesday said there was no possibility of question paper leaks in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, asserting that no such incident had occurred.

He also expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of the first day of exams held nationwide, noting that no untoward incidents were reported.

“There is no chance of question leaks, and none has taken place. There has been no such discussion either,” he said.

Milon thanked journalists for their cooperation, saying their coverage helped inform the public about the government’s steps to ensure a fair and malpractice-free examination.

He added that the authorities had taken various preventive measures in advance, which were widely broadcast in television and newspapers, reassuring the nation that this year’s exams would be conducted smoothly without cheating or question leaks.

The minister was speaking at a press conference at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka.

He said students were taking part in the exams with enthusiasm, describing their participation as encouraging.

Milon urged continued cooperation for the remaining exams, adding that he and his team would closely monitor the process.

He also requested that any reports of irregularities be immediately brought to his attention.
