Tangail correspondent:

An alleged Yaba pill peddler was arrested at Dhanbari upazila in Tangail district on early Friday.

The arrested man is Mehedul Alam Hasib, 30, a resident of Dhanbari municipality.

Dhanbari Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) SM Shahidullah confirmed the detention and said that being tipped-off a police team conducted a drive around 5:00 AM at Takuria Shopping Complex under the municipality and arrested the accused.

During the drive, police also confiscated 30 pieces Yaba pills from his possession, the OC added.
