Mohammad Salah Uddin, secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office and Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan, managing director of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, have been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

The public administration ministry published separate gazette notifications in this regard on Thursday.

Uddin was appointed as secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office on 8 December 2022 and he was the personal secretary-1 to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from January 2020.

Earlier, he was the former director general of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Besides, Additional Secretary Md Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan has been appointed the managing director of Biman Bangladesh Airlines in 2024.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notice regarding his appointment on 26 May this year.
