A blanket distribution programme was held at Parulia Football field in Debhata upazila of Satkhira district on Tuesday afternoon.

Mostaq Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner in Satkhira attended the programme as chief guest, while it was presided over by Md. Asaduzzaman, UNO of Debhata upazila.

The programme was organized by Area Programme and Sushilan with the financial support of World Vision Bangladesh.

During the programme, blankets were distributed among 4780 registered and community children. Among them, there were 30 children with special needs.

Parulia Union Parishad Chairman Golam Farukh Babu, Sushilan DD GM Moniruzzaman, Wold Vision Bangladesh’s Sponsorship Officer Hero Gain and local journalists among others were also present in the programme.
